In the twentieth century, the decorative and creative arts are given a wide and popular stage. The style applied and implemented to the creative arts, and the font types represented to be a part of this decorative and innovative arts is known as Art Nouveau Font. The name suggests to be a meaning of specification of the word innovative art or creative art, in the French language. And this also represents to be specifying the word style of the youth, in the Herman language. The font works similar to that of the art works, that is nothing but designing approach based on which work has to be conducted completely on everything, initiating from the background and theme and the furniture thus making it a part of daily activities. The fonts are designed based on one particular theme or base. For example, the base is history, then the font will be designed in such a way that it would be necessarily in the form of a traditional way as history always resembles tradition rather than modernism. And all the designing part will be supported and made by the art as already mentioned above. The specific feature of the art is that, when the base or point is decided and given, initially all the related elements of the given point are considered and thus from then the construction of the relative font is expected to begin.

This art was initiated at Paris. Initially when there was a kingdom running down during the eighteenth century, an art was introduced which was generally used to design and co-ordinate the items used to decorate palaces and other places. According to the location of the items decorated, the art will take its roots thus evolving a new phase of art. Similar to the evolution of the art, the font is also given a shape, naming it as Art Nouveau Font, created by the existing decorated elements present in the surroundings.
